DRILL SESSION MAKE-UP POLICY
The Allcourt Tennis Academy (ATA) is one of the few programs of its kind to offer most students a chance to make-up missed drill sessions. Because of this benefit, we urge all students to take advantage of our "make-up policy."
All students who miss a drill session due to illness, inclement whether, an observed holiday, or because a session was canceled by the ATA Coaching Staff, have the right to make-up that drill session on another day which their tier level meets as long as they meet the following guidelines:
* Students must take their make-up within one month of the canceled or missed drill session. If they fail to do so the session missed will be forfeited. Missed lessons may not be credited toward monthly invoices.
* Students who drop out of the program may not make-up missed drill sessions after their drop out date. Missed drill sessions may not to be deducted from monthly invoices.
* Students are not allowed to make-up lessons missed because of conflicting schedules/appointments or forgetfulness. Other extraordinary circumstances will be handled on a case by case basis.
* All students who are going to miss a drill session or match-play are required to contact Coach Jessica Fischetti at least 24 hrs. prior to the drill session to notify him that their spot will be available for someone else to use as a make-up. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of make-up privileges.
INCLEMENT WEATHER:
Inclement weather includes rain, snow, and extremely low temperatures (below 32 degrees including wind chill). Drills will never be canceled due to excessive heat or humidity. Students should bring plenty of water and/or Gatorade on all days and be especially prepared during the hot summer months. Vending machines, water, and ice is available inside the proshop at all Allcourt Tennis Academy locations. Students are expected to stay for the entire drill session even when inclement weather arises during a drill session. Training videos, tournament planning, mental toughness and other important off-court activities will be conducted indoors.
If drill sessions are canceled due to inclement weather, students will not receive a notification. All students must call the facility proshop if the weather is questionable. When determining possible cancellations due to cold weather, we will be using the Weather Channel Cable Network's local conditions.

OBSERVED HOLIDAYS:
New Years Day (January 1st), Martin Luther King (observed), Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day Holiday (Thursday and Friday), and New Years Day (January 1st). The Allcourt Tennis Academy will run 11 and a half months out of the year. The program will break from December 16th through January 1st. Participants will only be billed for a half of a month of activities in December. Coaches will be available on an individual basis over the break. Note: We have noticed that some of our participants tend to remain sedentary during the break and fall behind on their routine. If you don't use it, you lose it!
HOW TO MAKE-UP A DRILL SESSION:
To schedule a make-up, students/parents must contact Coach Jessica Fischetti at Laurel Park Tennis Center at least 3 days prior to the day they wish to attend. This allows us time to get more instructors if necessary. Leave a message stating the exact day and time your child will come to make-up their lesson. Jessica will call you within 24 hours if there is a spot. If you do not receive a return phone call-do not just show up!
NOTE: Students who show up to make-up a drill session without following proper procedures may be sent home if appropriate instructor to student ratios do not permit. Our guarantee to provide quality instruction is based in part be the need to maintain proper ratios. We require the 3 days notice to ensure that we will have enough instructors for every session.
